Dr. Onyeka Ihezie
A passionate pharmacist, embarked on a natural hair care journey over a decade ago. Frustrated by the lack of suitable and clean products, she delved into extensive research, crafting clean, all-natural hair, skin, and body care items. Driven by a mission to educate, she partnered with organizations like Commonground and The Black Girl Tribe, providing over $2,000 worth of handmade products to empower women. With a thriving impact, her creations have reached diverse locations, generating over $50,000 in revenue and emphasizing the importance of embracing natural beauty and health.

Dr. Vivian Nzedu
A board certified pediatrician with special interests in both acute care and preventive care pediatrics. She is particularly passionate about immunization and disease prevention but also enjoys partnering with families to provide timely, evidenced based and compassionate care to sick patients. Dr Nzedu is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She brings her vast clinical experience that spans across more than 2 decades to each child and family she is privileged to care for. Since completing her medical training and the subsequent Pediatric Residency and Chief residency in New York, Dr Nzedu has held numerous faculty positions prior to moving to the northern Virginia area where she currently resides which her family. When she is not working, Dr Nzedu enjoys youth sports, reading, being outdoors and traveling with her family. She is a proud member of the African Christian Fellowship where she volunteers and continues to serve in various capacities at her local chapter and regional levels.

Dr. Ijeoma Ozed-Williams
A seasoned obstetrician-gynecologist whose profound dedication to women’s health has been a hallmark of a distinguished career in medicine. Having recently retired from clinical practice after several decades, she brings a wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to advancing women and children’s health through a transition into a non-profit sector. Ijeoma is dedicated to the holistic care of women across diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. She is passionately dedicated to community outreach programs and healthcare initiatives that seek to breach healthcare access for everyone by empowering them at the grassroot level. Currently, Dr. Ozed-Williams is engaged in the training and mentoring of the next generation of healthcare professionals. She brings a passion and drive to enrich a global initiative and create meaningful and sustainable impacts that leaves a legacy of care.

Veronica Archibong David
Veronica was born in Nigeria, west Africa and was raised by single a parent. She migrated to United States after graduation from college in Africa with BA in Eng/Ed. In the US, she started a career in nursing as a nurse aide. She later obtained an associate degree in nursing from Montgomery Community College, worked for some years, went back to school in 2016 and obtained her BSN and MSN from Chamberlain University. Her experience growing up as a child instilled in her the spirit of appreciation, hard work, and an interest in serving the underprivileged population. She is particularly passionate about caring for the elderly and children, especially disadvantaged and special need children. Her work experience with Prince George’s County Public Schools as a school nurse for many years, caring for special-needs children developed in her a deep passion for helping the disadvantaged population. She has extensive experience in nursing. She is currently working in a community hospital, and also works as a Family Nurse Practitioner for an insurance organization. She recently completed a post-master’s certification Program from GWU in Geriatric complex care. Within her own community, Veronica served in her local church as a council member for nine years under the leadership of Late Dr, Rev. Basil Osuji. She currently serves as youth mentor and occasionally acts as the youth chaperone in her local church. She enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.

Pastor Abigail Osuji
Reverend Abigail Osuji stands as a seasoned and ordained minister with an enriching journey spanning more than three decades. Currently serving as a pastor in the Atlantic District of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, Pastor Abigail brings a profound wealth of spiritual wisdom and a heartfelt commitment to her congregation. While working as a Christian missionary in Hong Kong for 15 years, Pastor Abigail also served as Senior Pastor of her church. In addition to her work in Hong Kong, Pastor Abigail went on short mission trips to Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, and other far East Asian countries. Pastor Abigail serves as a diligent leader and coordinator of the food bank operated by the local Foursquare church in Beltsville, Maryland. Over the years, she has served as the head of Women Ministry in her local Foursquare Church. Beyond the local community, Pastor Abigail has continued to be an active participant in Christian mission trips, extending the reach of her ministry to places like Nicaragua. Family holds a special place in Pastor Abigail’s heart, and she is a dedicated mother to three children. Pastor Abigail Osuji’s life is a testament to her enduring faith, compassionate service, and dedication to both her local and global communities. As a leader, mother, and humanitarian, she embodies the principles of love, hospitality, and faith. Pastor Abigail stands as a pillar of inspiration and compassion in the Prince George’s County community and beyond.

Fred Hutchinson
Fred Hutchinson was born in Washington D.C. in the United States. He was raised in the suburbs of Maryland. While attending high school, he studied graphic arts and printing. After graduating high school, he held various jobs, including driving buses and electrical apprenticeship. He retired in 2018, having worked for Giant Food for thirty-seven years. Fred’s life interests include being with people, business, and flower gardening.

Dr. Ugonma Okparaocha
Dr. Ugonma Okparaocha is a distinguished and highly experienced board-certified pediatrician with an impressive career spanning over 30 years. She is also a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians, showcasing her commitment to excellence and expertise in the field of pediatrics. Throughout her extensive journey in pediatrics, Dr. Okparaocha has not only provided exceptional medical care but has also become a beacon of compassion and empathy. Her ability to connect with both young patients and their families has set her apart, creating a nurturing and supportive environment in her practice. In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Okparaocha has been a steadfast pillar in the Prince George’s County area of Maryland, USA, for the past 11 years. She has passionately served as a youth coordinator and mentor, dedicating her time to guiding and inspiring the next generation. In her various endeavors in this regard, Dr. Ugonma Okparaocha has played a pivotal role in fostering a sense of unity and collaboration in her community. Through various initiatives, she has brought together community members, local organizations, and healthcare professionals to work towards common goals, creating a network of support for the overall well-being of the community. Dr. Okparaocha’s commitment to community service extends beyond the borders of Maryland. Recognizing the importance of healthcare outreach, Dr. Okparaocha has been a driving force behind numerous medical missions. She is a diligent organizer and leader of medical missions both in Africa and the United States, contributing to the improvement of healthcare in underserved communities. Notably, Dr. Okparaocha has been an active participant in Christian mission trips to Cuba and Nicaragua. Outside of her professional and philanthropic endeavors, Dr. Okparaocha is a dedicated mother of three children. In her free time, Dr. Okparaocha finds joy in nurturing her hobbies. She is an avid gardener, and she enjoys engaging in intellectually stimulating indoor games, with Scrabble being one of her favorites. Dr. Ugonma Okparaocha’s life is a testament to her unwavering commitment to healthcare, community service, and family values.
