Eagles Wings Network is dedicated to extending a lifeline of medical and food aid to those in need. Our mission is “to create, replicate, and support dynamic grassroots-based networks of assistance” for individuals, families, and communities that are underserved medically, socially, and economically. In practice, we seek to bridge health disparities by providing essential resources where they’re scarce: delivering food, medicines, and compassionate care to communities lacking access to food and healthcare. By working closely with local churches and partners, Eagles Wings brings hope and practical support directly to neighborhoods in need.
Core Focus Areas:
- Access to Food – Supplying nutritious meals and groceries, especially prioritizing children’s needs.
- Access to Healthcare – Offering free clinics, medical screenings, and donated medicines so that families can receive care and prescriptions.
- Education Support – Providing school supplies and health education to students and orphans, empowering them to learn and stay healthy.
- Youth Mentoring & Empowerment – Guiding young people with mentoring programs and community projects that build leadership and confidence.
Programs and Community Impact
Eagles Wings Network hosts regular health fairs and outreach events to meet people’s needs on the ground. In one recent event (Owings Mills, MD – March 2024), 12 volunteers served 135 adults and 50 children by distributing free food, clothing, baby supplies, and personal care items. Healthcare professionals on-site provided health education and basic medical screenings to ensure neighbors learned how to stay well. Other programs include free back-to-school drives (with school supplies and meals) and global medical missions in Nigeria and Nicaragua. Each initiative is volunteer-driven, with donations of food, hygiene products, and medicines fueling the work.
Upcoming Food and Health Fair (Sept 13, 2025)
On Saturday, September 13, 2025 (11 AM – 1 PM) at Parkview Gardens Apartments in Riverdale, MD, Eagles Wings Network (with Glory of Christ Church) will host a free Food and Health Fair. Community members can receive groceries at no cost, plus free health screenings (blood pressure and blood sugar checks) and health education resources. Volunteers will also distribute free health items to support attendees’ wellness.
Event Highlights:
- Free nutritious food and groceries for families
- Free blood pressure and blood sugar checks by medical volunteers
- Free health care products (toothbrushes, vitamins, first-aid supplies)
- On-site health education (nutrition guidance, disease prevention tips)
This fair is designed to improve access to food and basic healthcare services in our local community. By bringing together medical screenings and nutrition support in one event, we help neighbors overcome barriers to wellness.
How to Support Eagles Wings Network
Eagles Wings Network thrives on community involvement. You can make a real impact by volunteering or donating. Volunteers assist at events (serving meals, conducting health checks, mentoring youth), and donors provide food, medical supplies, or financial gifts to keep our programs running. With your help, we can continue to bring “medical miracles and food reprieve” to communities in need. Consider joining an upcoming event or contributing a tax-deductible donation – every bit of support helps bridge the gap in healthcare access and nutrition.
Get Involved:
- Volunteer at a community fair or mentoring program.
- Donate non-perishable food, over-the-counter medicines, or funds.
- Spread the word – share our mission with friends and local groups.
Your support directly enables us to serve more families. Together, we can extend compassion and practical aid — ensuring that access to healthcare and health education reach everyone, and that no one goes without food or essential care.
Eagles Wings Network invites you to join us in this mission. With your partnership, we will continue soaring toward health, healing, and hope for all.
